Together we are Phoenix Fierce.
From the Fire of a Phoenix:
Why the name Phoenix Rising with Dr. G?
The phoenix is a mythological, majestic bird that is legendary across many cultures. It symbolizes the power to overcome darkness, dying in a show of scorching flames before being reborn again from the ashes that remain. This rising illustrates the strength within each of us to face the fires before us. It inspires transformation, renewal, healing, progress, and hope for tomorrow.
I utilize this phoenix metaphor in that I walk alongside people who are engulfed in the fire. Whether that fire is chronic pain, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, or eating disorder recovery, it’s important for each of us to face our fire and face its depth that impact our entire being.
There is something to be said about becoming vulnerable, feeling that discomfort, that fire, and then rising from the ashes. The humility to face oneself in the depths of suffering is where we can find liberation from ongoing emotional suffering. We can come to recognize that level of empowerment was within us all along, just sometimes it needs to get ignited first before we recognize it.
Transformation is often messy, non-linear, and is definitely not easy. That’s why it is so important to have a trusting healthcare professional support your rise from the ashes.
You don't have to walk this path alone. Together we are Phoenix Fierce.

"Dr. Geraghty played a significant role in my son's ability to thrive. She quickly connected with him, empowered him with tools, and prepared me as a parent to support him in meaningful ways. Her approach was holistic, practical, and provided with great care."
"Dr. G--You know how grateful we are for you. If it was not for you, my daughter would not be where she is today. When I found you, I realized that the family matters so much in eating disorder recovery. You made our daughter realize that it was ok to talk about her eating disorder, to share with us, and we learned from you how to provide the support she needed at home."
"“Dr. G saved my daughters life. Her kind and blunt ways were just what my daughter needed. My daughter totally trusted her with her life and Dr. G made her see she is so much more than her eating disorder.”
